Effective rust removal for tanks and steel parts

FERTAN FeDOX deruster concentrate is specially developed to thoroughly remove rust from the inside of tanks and various steel parts. Thanks to its unique composition, metal surfaces are completely freed from rust, making them ready for further surface treatment.

Unique composition for optimal results

This concentrate contains special wetting agents and biodegradable surfactants in an aqueous solution. As a result, metal treated with FeDOX is protected against further corrosion, which is essential before coating or painting with FERTAN.

Easy to use and reusable

• Mixing ratio: FeDOX is used in a 10% solution with water.
• Application: Prepare a bath of 11 liters by adding about 7 liters of heated water (about 60°C) to the tank and slowly adding 1 liter of FeDOX while stirring. Fill the tank completely with 3 liters of heated water and mix well.
• Reaction time: Let the solution work for about 12 hours at room temperature.
• Reusability: After use, the material can be collected in a suitable container for reuse.

Suitable for various applications

FeDOX is ideal for:

• Fuel tanks: Removes rust from the inside of tanks, making them ready for further treatment.
• Steel parts: Suitable for derusting various steel components.
• Ultrasonic systems: Can be used in ultrasonic systems with adjusted concentrations. A constant temperature of about 55 - 60°C dissolves even heavy corrosion in the shortest possible time.

Recommended after-treatment

After derusting, it is important to rinse the parts thoroughly with clean water and dry them well. For optimal protection against future corrosion, it is recommended to treat the surfaces with FERTAN rust converter or a suitable primer, such as FERPOX Epoxy Primer.
