The SOUDAL Metal Plastic Extra Fine is an extra fine two-component polyester filler, ideal for repairing and finishing damaged surfaces. Thanks to its very fine grain and easy sanding, this filler is perfectly suited as a finishing layer before painting.

Applications

This filler is suitable for:

• Filling scratches, cracks, and dents in metal sheets, including galvanized and zinc-coated steel
• Repairing damage to cars
• Repairs of metal, polyester, and wooden surfaces
• Filling cracks in wood

Instructions for use

1. Preparation of the substrate : Ensure the surface is clean, dry, degreased, and sanded.
2. Mixing : Place a small amount of filler on a flat plate and mix it with 2 to 3% hardener. Mix thoroughly until a uniform paste without visible streaks is obtained.
3. Application : Use a spatula to quickly and smoothly apply the mixture to the surface. If necessary, apply in several layers, allowing the top to slightly protrude above the surrounding area.
4. Curing : Allow the filler to cure. After about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature, the surface is ready for further processing, such as sanding or painting.

Note : This filler is not suitable for use on galvanized or zinc-coated steel.
