Description

Motip Engine Paint in Volvo Penta green is specially developed for treating engine blocks. This paint provides a durable high-gloss finish and is resistant to temperatures up to 150°C. Thanks to its elastic properties, the paint remains intact during temperature changes and offers excellent protection against corrosion and dirt adhesion.

This engine paint is ideal for spraying various engine components, including:

• Valve covers
• Cylinder heads
• Oil pans
• Alternators

Properties

Instructions for use

1. Preparation : Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and grease-free. Lightly sand with 600-grit sandpaper for optimal adhesion.
2. Shaking : Shake the spray can vigorously for at least 2 minutes.
3. Spraying : Hold the spray can about 25-30 cm away and apply the paint in several thin layers. Wait 5-10 minutes between each layer.
4. Drying : Allow the paint to dry for at least 24 hours at a temperature of around 20°C.

Notes

For best results, it is recommended to apply the paint at an ambient temperature between 10 and 25°C. Avoid spraying in direct sunlight or high humidity.
