This lacquer is ideal for car parts such as exhausts, engine blocks, and brake calipers, but also for other applications like stoves, barbecues, and radiators. Thanks to its excellent adhesion, the lacquer is suitable for both treated and untreated surfaces. ### Resistant to various influences This heat-resistant lacquer is not only resistant to high temperatures, but also to petrol, chemicals, and various weather conditions. This ensures durable protection and long-lasting retention of color and finish, even under harsh conditions. ### Instructions for use - **Preparation**: Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and grease-free. Remove loose old paint and rust, and lightly sand the surface. Applying a primer is not necessary. - **Application**: Shake the spray can for 2 minutes before use. Spray several thin layers from a distance of 25 to 30 cm, shaking the can again between layers. Allow the lacquer to dry for one hour at room temperature after the last layer. - **Curing**: Then heat the treated surface for 30 to 60 minutes up to 200°C to fully cure the lacquer layer. Smoke may develop during this process. ### Technical specifications - **Content**: 400 ml - **Color**: Beige - **Gloss level**: Ultra matt - **Coverage**: 1.25 to 1.75 m² per spray can - **Dust dry**: After 5 to 10 minutes - **Tack free**: After 10 to 15 minutes - **Cured**: After 30 to 60 minutes at 160°C - **Heat resistance**: Up to 800°C ### Available colors The MOTIP heat-resistant lacquer is available in various colors, including: - Dark anthracite - Black - White - Anthracite - Beige - Grey - Brown - Silver Note: the color red is heat-resistant up to 300°C. ### Important notes - **Drying time**: The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, humidity, and the thickness of the applied lacquer layer. - **Application temperature**: For best results, it is recommended to apply the lacquer at an ambient temperature between 10 and 25°C. - **Cleaning after use**: After use, clean the valve by holding the spray can upside down and pressing the nozzle for about 5 seconds.
