Heat-resistant paint for extreme temperatures

When you want to protect car parts such as exhausts, engine blocks or brake calipers from extreme heat, MOTIP heat-resistant paint in dark anthracite offers the perfect solution. This paint withstands temperatures up to 800°C and provides a durable finish.

Excellent adhesion and protection

The paint adheres excellently to both treated and untreated surfaces. In addition, the paint is resistant to petrol, chemicals and various weather conditions, which extends the lifespan of your parts.

Easy application without primer

You can apply the paint directly without using a primer. Follow these steps for the best result:

• Make sure the surface is clean, dry and grease-free.
• Remove loose old paint and rust, and lightly sand the surface.
• Shake the spray can for at least 2 minutes before use.
• Spray at a temperature between 10°C and 25°C at a distance of 25 to 30 cm.
• Apply several thin layers, shaking the spray can in between.
• Let the paint dry for one hour at room temperature and then heat for 30 to 60 minutes at 200°C to cure the paint layer.

Available colors

In addition to dark anthracite, MOTIP heat-resistant paint is available in various other colors, including black, white, anthracite, beige, grey, brown and silver, all heat-resistant up to 800°C. The red variant is heat-resistant up to 300°C.

Important notes

Smoke development may occur during the curing process. This is normal and will disappear over time. Ensure sufficient ventilation during application and curing of the paint.
