Fast-drying and easy to sand

Thanks to its fast-drying formula, the primer is dust-dry after 5 to 10 minutes and tack-free after 10 to 20 minutes. Moreover, the primer is easy to sand, both wet and dry, from grit 400, ensuring optimal surface preparation.

Effective corrosion protection

The MOTIP Primer offers good protection against corrosion, enhancing the durability of the treated surface. This is especially important for metal surfaces exposed to moisture and other corrosive elements.

Can be painted over with all paint systems

This primer can be painted over with all paint systems, including alkyd resin, nitrocellulose, 1K acrylic, and 2K acrylic paints. This provides flexibility when choosing the final topcoat.

Available in multiple colours and sizes

The MOTIP Primer is available in various colours, including grey, red, black, and white, and in different sizes:

• Spray cans of 150 ml and 500 ml
• Paint markers of 12 ml

Instructions for use

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and grease-free.
2. Remove loose old paint and rust, and sand the surface.
3. Bring the spray can to room temperature (15 to 25°C) and shake for 2 minutes before use.
4. Spray a test area to check spray distance and technique.
5. Keep a distance of 25 to 30 cm from the surface to be treated and apply the primer in several thin layers.
6. Shake the spray can again before applying each subsequent layer.
7. After use, clean the valve by holding the can upside down and pressing the spray head for about 5 seconds.
