• Centari® 500: A 2K finishing system for solid colors and metallic single-stage paints, known for its high coverage and excellent gloss finish.
• Centari® 5035: A 2K finishing system with low solvent emission (very high solids content) for solid colors, offering high coverage and excellent gloss.
• Centari® 600: A 1K matte basecoat for solid, metallic, and pearl colors, with easy application, high coverage, and fast drying.

Application and Preparation

For optimal application of CROMAX AM74 Centari Blue Pearl, careful surface preparation is essential:

• Cleaning: Wash the surface with soap and water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
• Degreasing: Use a suitable Cromax Refinish cleaner to degrease the surface and wipe with a clean cloth.
• Sanding: Sand the surface mechanically (P360 - P400 - P500) or with water (P1000 - P1200) to create a smooth base.
• Dust removal: Remove all sanding dust with oil-free compressed air and degrease again with a suitable cleaner.

Application Process

• Basecoat: Apply one medium coat to a well-prepared surface, followed by a light coat with 1-2 minutes flash-off between coats. For transparent or very bright colors, two coats may be needed.
• Drying: Wait until the surface is matte and even before applying the next coat.
• Finishing: Apply the Cromax Refinish Clearcoat as soon as the basecoat is fully matte. The maximum time for applying the clearcoat is 3 days, excluding contamination.
