High-build spray filler and primer in one

The EVERCOAT Slick Sand is a 2K polyester spray filler and primer that fills and primes rough and uneven surfaces in a single coat. Thanks to its high solids content, this product offers a filling capacity of 200 to 300 microns per layer, resulting in an extremely smooth surface after drying.

Application instructions

1. Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean and free of dirt, oil, grease, and wax. For bare metal, it is recommended to apply a high-quality self-etching or epoxy primer before using Slick Sand.

2. Mixing: Shake and stir Slick Sand thoroughly before use. Add 30 grams of liquid hardener per liter of product (2% by weight) and mix well. The processing time is approximately 45 minutes at 24°C.

3. Application: Use a spray gun with a nozzle opening of 1.8 mm or larger. Apply 2-3 medium coats with 10-15 minutes between coats.

4. Finishing: Depending on the layer thickness and ambient temperature, Slick Sand can be sanded after about 2 hours. Sand the surface with P400-P600 sandpaper before proceeding to the next step.
