GELSON Side Scudex black is a 2-component product specially developed to protect the underside and exterior of your car against stone chips, rust, oil, salt, and water. The elastic protective film forms a durable barrier that extends the lifespan of your vehicle.

Sound-dampening properties

In addition to protection, the Scudex layer also offers sound-dampening benefits. This makes the product ideal for use on sills, spoilers, and the underside of the bodywork, improving driving comfort.

Paintable and fast-drying

The applied layer is paintable, which means you can match the finish to your car’s color. Moreover, the product dries quickly, so you can get back on the road in no time.

Application and use

• Direct application: Can be applied directly to bare metal or fiberglass.
• Mixing ratio: Mix with hardener (80232) in a ratio of 3:1.
• Application methods: Use a gun (85440) or disposable nozzles (85441) for even application.
• Drying time: Dry after 4 to 6 hours.

Recommendation for specific surfaces

For galvanized sheets or aluminum, it is recommended to first use an epoxy primer to ensure optimal adhesion and protection.
