Versatile PU adhesive sealant for bodywork and container construction

Soudal Carbond 940FC is a high-quality, hard-elastic adhesive sealant based on polyurethane, specially developed for bonding and sealing metal and polyester parts in bodywork and container construction. Thanks to its permanent elasticity after curing, this adhesive sealant is ideal for applications subject to vibrations and movements.

Excellent adhesion to various materials

This adhesive sealant adheres effortlessly without primer to different substrates, including:

• Steel
• Epoxy coatings
• Polyester

This makes the Carbond 940FC particularly suitable for bonding spoilers, fender flares, and other bodywork parts.

Fast curing and paintability

With a rapid cure of approximately 3 mm per 24 hours at 23°C and 50% relative humidity, the Carbond 940FC ensures efficient processing. After full curing, the adhesive sealant is excellently paintable, providing a seamless finish to your project.

High resistance to UV and chemicals

The Carbond 940FC offers:

This guarantees long-lasting performance, even under harsh conditions.

Easy application

The adhesive sealant is very easy to apply and can be simply applied with a manual or pneumatic caulking gun. For cleaning tools and surfaces after use, it is recommended to use white spirit or thinner.
