Current (Amps) x distance (meters) x 0.2 = cable thickness in mm²

• For a battery charger of 30A at a distance of 2.5 meters: 30 x 2.5 x 0.2 = 15 mm². In this case, choose the next standard thickness, namely 16mm².

• For an inverter of 450W on a 12V battery, at a distance of 3 meters: 450W / 12V = 37.5A; 37.5 x 3 x 0.2 = 22.5 mm². Here, choose a cable of 25mm².
