Self-fusing tape for versatile applications

The HPX Stretch & Fuse Tape is a self-fusing insulation tape that, after curing, forms a permanent, waterproof, UV-resistant, and airtight seal. This flexible tape easily adapts to irregular shapes and is suitable for various applications in the automotive industry, marine, plumbing, and sanitary sectors.

Ideal for electrical insulation and repairs

This tape is especially suitable for insulating electrical connections and repairing pipes and sanitary fittings, except for gas pipes. Thanks to its self-fusing properties, the tape fuses under pressure during application, creating a strong and durable bond.

Easy to apply and clean to remove

The HPX Stretch & Fuse Tape is user-friendly and can be applied to all surfaces, even wet or dirty ones. However, for optimal results, a dry surface is recommended. The tape leaves no residue upon removal, ensuring a neat finish.

Application instructions

1. Degrease the surface before use. The tape is preferably applied to a dry surface between 0°C and 35°C.
2. Wrap the tape completely around itself once to fix it for further wrapping.
3. Stretch the tape to the maximum while wrapping and ensure tight, half-overlaps for optimal compression.
4. Press the end of the tape less tightly together with the other layers.

The overlaps fuse immediately and form a permanent, adhesive bond within 24 hours. The tape can later be easily and cleanly cut away.
