High-quality synthetic brake fluid

Castrol React Performance DOT 4 is a synthetic brake fluid with a high boiling point, specially developed for use in various braking systems, especially those under extreme conditions.

Excellent protection against corrosion and vapor formation

This brake fluid is composed of polyalkylene glycol ethers and borate esters, enriched with superior additives. This provides:

• Reduction of vapor formation

Compatibility and applications

Castrol React Performance DOT 4 is fully compatible with other brake fluids that meet the FMVSS 116 DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 standards. It is recommended not to mix the product with other brake fluids to maintain its high performance. Replace the brake fluid according to the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations; in the absence of specific guidelines, a replacement interval of two years is advised.

Important usage conditions

Note: Castrol React Performance DOT 4 should not be used in braking systems for which mineral oil-based products are recommended, such as certain Citroën systems for which Castrol LHM Plus is suitable, and Rolls Royce vehicles for which Castrol CHSMO Plus is approved. Avoid contact with paintwork; if contact occurs, rinse immediately with water without rubbing.

Storage and handling

Preferably store the brake fluid under cover. If stored outdoors, place the drums horizontally with the bungs below the oil level to prevent water ingress and label fading. Avoid storage above 60°C and exposure to direct sunlight or frost.
