NOCO GENIUS 5 BATTERY CHARGER 6/12V - 5A

Noco Genius 5 is an advanced battery charger / trickle charger with battery desulator designed to charge and maintain 10 Ah to 120 Ah batteries. The Noco Genius 5 is suitable for all 6 Volt and 12 Volt lead-acid, marine and semi-traction batteries, including wet, gel, AGM and maintenance free batteries, plus lithium ion batteries. Thanks to its wide application list, this battery charger is suitable for charging and maintaining several batteries for your car, motorcycle, quad, lawn mower, etc.

Noco Genius is a fully automatic, worry-free battery charger that can be used year-round. Restore your battery by detecting sulfation and acid stratification and restoring lost performance for stronger engine starts and longer battery life.



An integrated thermal sensor detects ambient temperature and modifies the charge to eliminate overcharging in hot climates and undercharging in cold climates. Charge dead batteries to 1-Volt, or use the new Force Mode that allows you to take control and manually begin charging dead batteries to zero volts.



The Noco Genius chargers are IP65 protected making the housing completely sealed and protected from dust. In addition, the charger is splash proof and protected against incorrect connection of the battery terminals. The charger is spark-free to connect to the battery, the charger is protected against overcharging of the battery, overvoltage, short circuits and overheating. In short, the Genius battery charger is a safe choice for your garage.



The Noco charger comes with battery clamps / alligator clips and also eyelets / connection eyes to possibly make a fixed connection to a battery. With the eyelets you make a fixed connection to the battery terminals after which you can easily connect and disconnect the charger from the battery with a plug connection in the cable. The connection with the eyelets is a better connection to pass contact to the poles of a battery.



The Genius charger has an 8 step charge program which is completed during the charging and maintenance of a battery. The charging steps of this program are as follows:

- Analysis (initial check and test of the battery)

- Diagnosis (determines if the battery is good enough to start charging)

- Recovery (restores the desulfation process of the battery if necessary)

- Initialize (starts charging with a low starting voltage)

- Bulk (bulk charging the battery to about 80% fill level)

- Absorption (continues charging the battery to 90% fill with lower currents)

- Optimization (completes the charging process to a maximum filled battery)

- Maintenance (monitors and maintains/recharges the battery)
