1. Clean the window and remove grease with a suitable glass cleaner.
2. Cut the film to size, allowing a margin of 3 to 5 cm larger than the window.
3. Moisten the window with (soapy) water.
4. Remove the transparent protective layer from the film.
5. Place the film with the adhesive side on the moistened surface and position it correctly.
6. Press the film down and use the spatula to smooth it out.
7. Dry the film and trim excess edges with the knife.
8. Remove any air bubbles and water with the spatula, working from the inside out.
