Impact sockets
Impact sockets are made of Chromemolybdenum and are therefore extra strong. These sockets are usually very easy to recognise by their black colour. Impact sockets are ideally suited for intensive and heavy-duty work. Impact sockets are mainly used with impact wrenches. The best-known impact sockets are those with a coloured plastic casing. These impact sockets are mainly used for removing wheel bolts and wheel nuts. Thanks to the plastic sheath, you safely remove wheel bolts and wheel nuts without causing damage to the rim.
The impact sockets come in various sizes from 1/2" to 3/4" and in different versions; 6 point, 12 point, allen, torx and the corresponding adapters. To make it easy for you, we have divided the impact sockets into different categories so that you can easily navigate to the socket you need.
The dimensions of the socket square are expressed in inch measurements ("). Here is the conversion to metric size so you can easily know the size of your take-up square: 1/4"= 6.3mm, 3/8"= 10mm, 1/2" = 12.5mm, 3/4"= 20mm.
